BARBARA HELEN SPROULE Barbara passed away peacefully, in her 85th year, on February 22, 2019, at her residence, with her family at her side. A longer obituary will follow at a later date.

  • I have so many memories of my Auntie Barb. She was a wonderful, creative woman who loved her family deeply. My fondest memory as a child was going over to their home on Boxing Day and having Christmas dinner with my aunt and uncle, Mike and Gerry, and my family. They always had a real scotch pine tree and the biggest turkey I ever saw. My aunt was a wonderful cook and baker. Her cookies were the best. She was a person always involved in many activities and crafts. In their later years, it was a joy to visit them in Sandy Hook, and both my Auntie Barb and Uncle Al were always so glad to have you there. They were a couple who showed me what real love was, and I looked up to them so much. They will be so missed. Mike and Gerry, your dad would be so proud of how you cared for your mom after he was gone. I know you will miss her deeply, but she is together again with your dad.
