Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDANNY MICHAEL DILAY 1942 - 2019 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Danny Dilay on February 25, 2019 in Vancouver. Danny was born in Winnipeg on August 18, 1942. Danny graduated from Transcona Collegiate and joined CNR in 1965. He later moved over to VIA Rail and was employed for nearly 33 years, in Winnipeg, Jasper and Vancouver. He retired in January, 1998 and continued living in Vancouver enjoying the city and the mild weather. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Justina and John Dilay. He leaves to mourn his passing brother Bob (Dorothy) and their children, Kim (great-niece Lena) and Jeff (Sarah). A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.

Sorry to hear about the loss of a long time friend. Dan and I attended school together from Grade 6 - 12 in Transcona, remaining friends throughout that time. A few years later he was in our wedding party, and then our lives intersected again at his mother's funeral service.
