Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryADAM PETER LUKOW It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Adam Peter Lukow on March 15, 2019. Adam passed away at the age of 68, at Health Sciences Centre, after a long battle with illness. He is survived by Viktoria, their daughter, Allison, and his son, Adrian (Jenny). He will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Zbigniew (Krystyna), his niece, Ala (Tomasz), their children, Johnny and Isabella, nephew, Robert, his cousin, Boguslaw (Maria), and their son Kamil. He will be remembered in fondness by cousins and friends in Poland, Brazil, USA, and all over Canada. He was predeceased by his parents, Wladyslaw and Katarzyna Lukow. Adam was born January 25, 1951 in Swiete, Poland. He immigrated to Canada at the age of seven with his parents and brother. When Adam was in his 20s, he was a member of a polka band and played his accordion at many weddings and social events. Throughout his life, Adam was a man who never hesitated to help others. Whether it was to immigrate to Canada or find employment, Adam was there to help. Adam always loved to have family and friends over for a BBQ, serving his famous steak. But most of all, he loved to travel. Adam worked hard from an early age building himself a flooring company, which he continued working in until illness. Rosary will be said on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., both at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Burrin Ave. with Fr. Dominic Yuen. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery, 4387 Main Street.

Out condolences to Zbyszek, Krysia and all the family. Adam will be missed. We were friends since we met at Garden City Collegiate in 1968. Even though I moved out of Winnipeg but we never missed an opportunity to meet and reminiscence every time I came back. Rest in peace my friend... You always will be in my thoughts. So sad to learn of Adam's passing. I remember him as a quiet boy, who did his work without complaining, as a student at St. John's. We shouldn't be losing our students before us. Sincere condolences to his family and friends. - Posted by: Cheryl Willis (Former teacher) on: Mar 19, 2019

We are so sorry for your loss Robert. We have so many good memories of laughing, listening Adam play his accordion and singing along while he played his accordion. His band played at my first wedding and they did a great job. He picked our first dance because we didn't have one. We thank God for his suffering to end. Earth has suffered another loss of a good man but Heaven has gained. - Posted by: Angela (Friend) on: Mar 19, 2019
