She will be sadly missed by her husband George; her two children, Dineen (MacDonald) and Micky; and her three grandchildren, Connor, Valentine and Corentine.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or to Siloam Mission, in Merle's memory.

Dear Uncle George, Dineen, Dave, Connor, Micky, Polly, Valentine, and Corentine, Our deepest condolences...our hearts are so heavy for all of you with the loss of Aunt Merle. Precious wife, mom and grandma. We will forever treasure our many fond memories of this special, kind aunt with our many travels to Winnipeg and the times she could visit here in Ontario. My deepest condolences to you, George and all your family, kids, your sisters and bros, my cousins as well,and their families, also to all Merle's family....It is so sad to lose someone so young, know all too well how that feels, but I guess there is some comfort in knowing there was no long suffering.....even though a great shock to all family...Be thankful you all still have each other to lean on at this very sad time..larger families are a good thing!
