ANDREW WATT
He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy; brother Bill; and parents, William and Jessie.
His daughters, Moira (Steve) of Edmonton, and Lesley (Brian) of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Denise and Cory; along with great-grandchildren, Kate, Lily, and Jordan survive him.
Dad was born in Galashiels, Scotland and was a member of the Royal Corps of Signals in the British Army from 1946 to 1948. He immigrated to Canada in 1955 with his wife and eldest daughter and settled in Winnipeg. Dad worked for MTS for 28 years and took early retirement to pursue his passion for golf and gardening. He and mom travelled the world extensively and enjoyed 61 years together.
The family thanks the staff of River East Personal Care Home for their exceptional care and attention for Dad.
In accordance with Dad's wishes, there will be no funeral service. The family will gather at a later date to celebrate his life.
