AMELITA PURA PANGANIBAN

It is with great sadness that the family of Amelita Panganiban announces her passing, at the age of 88, on April 14, 2019 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Amelita was born in Gubat, Sorsogon, Philippines and was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was predeceased by her husband Alejandro, and will be lovingly remembered by her children: Helen Amaca, Jose (Lido) Panganiban, Hilda Simbulan, Emma Panganiban, Dina (Arnel) Susaya, Ramon Panganiban and Josephine Panganiban; grandchildren: Aldin, Annalyn (Joe), Fem (Alex), Racquel, Mark, Gilbeys (Angeline), Jonathan (Tin-Tin), Raniel (Angel), Larika (Neil), Jessica Mae, Sylvester, Sebastian, Ryan, Raymond, Rhea-Ann, Christian, John Carlo and Gecelle; great-grandchildren: Jonah, Isaac, Easton, Anthony, Jordan, Princess, Kirk, Dazzly, Dunzzle and Autumn.
Viewing/Lamay will be held Saturday, April 20, 2019 between 7:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Funeral service will be held Monday, April 22, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Broadway Disciples United Church, 396 Broadway Ave. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
