IRENE HELENE MARIE LAVALLEE
(nee GAUTHIER)

On Sunday, April 21, 2019 with family by her side, our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at the age of 77.
She is survived by her son Roger (Lisa) and daughter Diane (Jacques), five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild who were the joy of her life. Irene will be sadly missed by her brothers, Henri (Louise) and Roger (Jean) as well as three nephews and one niece. She was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Therese Gauthier.
Special thank you to all the staff at Foyer Valade for all the care and compassion she received over the past five years; they were her extended family.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 30 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Eugene Roman Catholic Church, 1009 St. Mary's Road. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Actionmargeurite Valade, Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of one's choice.
