Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or Memory
NORMA JEAN BECKINGHAM, R.N.
(nee HOURIE)
Survived by my husband Bob, son Jeff (Vivian), son Daryl (Karen), son Douglas (Janet) and grandchildren, Kara (Anthony), Drew, Aidian, Jessica, Chris (Cherie) and their children Kaylee and Xander. Also surviving sister Joan McDonald and brother Craig Hourie, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by my parents, a sister, brother, niece and brother-in-law.
There are so many people to thank, Dr. Margaret Speer and Helen, the staff of the Chemotherapy room, CancerCare and Selkirk Hospital. I am especially grateful to Gwen M. (the Very Best of Friends), sister Joan for being such a good listener, Subina F. Joan P. and Joan L. Big Thank You to the folks in Mapleton Lane. I really believed your caring, concern and positive energy gratefully prolonged my time here.
If you remember me, build a bridge, mend a fence, plant a tree, take a friend or foe for coffee. Never be afraid to tell people you love that you do.
I felt that the spiritual path of Eckankar answered all of my tough questions.
Remember Desiderata (words to live by). Go placidly amid the noise and haste and remember what peace there may be in silence.
May the Blessings Be.
Norma

Norma you will be lovingly missed. What fun we had working together in the Beausejour District Hospital. Our off work time was always full of laughter & joy. You will be welcomed joyfully by those who have gone before as another joyful angel.
