MICHAEL THOMAS BEVAN
1974 - 2019
On March 25, 2019, Michael sadly passed away in Peterborough, Ontario.
Mike leaves to mourn his wife Christine and their two beautiful daughters, Twila and Grace.
He is survived by his father Brian (Debbie), brother David (Connie), sisters, Joanne (Richard), Jennifer (Patrick) and Erin (Paul), along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother Carol Johnston, grandparents, Thomas (Bob) and Virginia Johnston and Joe and Margaret Trasiewick.
Mike graduated from Oak Park High School (Winnipeg) and went on to graduate from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Environmental Studies.
He went on to work for the Ontario Government, Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry with his passion for everything outdoors. He truly loved nature and did everything he could to promote its beauty and natural habitat to his other passion, his daughters.
He was always a believer in others before self and truly cared for those around him before his own needs.
He will be missed, always loved and never forgotten.
A service in Ontario was held previously, a Winnipeg memorial will be held May 18, 2019, 10:30 a.m. at Fort Whyte Interpretive Centre, McCreary Road and is open to all his friends and those that knew him.
A private family service will be held afterwards.
"Some scarce see nature at all, but to the eyes of one with imagination, nature is imagination itself."
In lieu of flowers, those that wish, can donate to St. Boniface Hospital Foundation Mental Health Fund in Michael's name.
