KYLE RONALD MORTIMORE
November 14, 1988 - March 22, 2019

Brain death within minutes. Cardiac death in mere hours. A single use of the popular street drug, cocaine which happened to be laced with fentanyl, and our Kyle was gone. When people in the streets are OD'ing every day and being brought back, and Kyle could not be, seems to be the most unfair. There is no safe amount.
On March 22, 2019 we tragically lost a husband, father, son, brother, cousin, nephew, grandson and friend, Kyle Mortimore.
Kyle was a larger than life human being. He was such a talented concrete and woodworker. He went to school in the St. James, Fort Richmond and Garden City areas. At the age of 17 he moved to Calgary with his mom Kim, stepdad Paul Chan, along with his brother Justin and sisters, Jessica and Briana. This is where he showed his talents off. He worked on his concrete stamping on three different bridges in Banff. His woodworking was impeccable. The decks he built were beyond amazing.
His number one thing in life was his family life. His wife Diana and his children, Austin, Adyn, Sierra, Mason and Lucas. He is also survived by mom Kim Chan (Paul), dad Don Mortimore (Linda), brothers, Mark, Justin, Josh and Alex, sisters, Jessica, Ashley and Briana, Grandpa Johnstone, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, we have put up a Go Fund Me page for Kyle's wife and kids:
