• Jessica and I would like to extend our sincere condolences, to all family members, at this difficult time. Lawrence was someone who, unfortunately, I only knew by reputation. A planned meeting back in 2014, during a trip to Canada, very sadly never came to fruition due to Lawrence succumbing to a bout of ill health at the time. I had wanted, among other things, to thank Lawrence, in person, for all of the wonderful genealogy work he had done over many years, without which the current contact I have with my Canadian family would probably never have happened. His achievements, at a time before the internet, really were immense. He clearly established the family’s roots and mapped out the large family tree. He established very sound foundations for others to build on, a legacy which will stand the test of time and one for which I shall always be grateful. Our thoughts are with you all.
