RODNEY (ROD) CRAIG MCRAE
April 6, 1953 - May 6, 2019
Peacefully, after a brief illness, surrounded by family Rodney passed away at St. Boniface Hospital.
Predeceased by his parents, Ken (May, 1993) and Shirley (March, 2007).
Rod is survived by his sons, Rodney and David; two grandchildren; siblings, Tim (Jo), Wanda, Todd (Sandra) and Norma along with many nieces, nephews and dear friend Lily.
Rod was born and raised in Winnipeg. He was a very talented wood worker who enjoyed camping, his vinyl records and the cottage life. Rod was a creative and skilled handyman with an outgoing personality. He will be remembered lovingly by all whose lives he touched.
Thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Boniface General Hospital for their care of Rodney.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Avenue at Henderson Hwy., Winnipeg, Manitoba.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
