STEFANIA SKOCEN
November 10, 1920 - May 9, 2019
Stefania was born November 10, 1920 in the Ukraine, passing away on May 9, 2019 in Winnipeg, at the age of 98. Stefania was married to Josef Skocen and they had a daughter Motria. Together they made their way to Toronto in 1959 to start a new life, eventually making their way to Winnipeg.
Predeceased by her husband Josef; daughter Motria; and sister Olga; and survived by her brother Myron (Olga); granddaughters, Adriana and Arkadia (Todd); great-grandchildren, Ryan (Dominique), Stefanie (Brett), Natasha, Luka and Kai; great-great-grandchildren, Dawson, Zoey and Lila.
Prayers will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. at Korban Funeral Chapel and funeral services on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Oseredok, Ukrainian Cultural and Educational Centre.
