LYNDA MERILYN HARDY
(nee ROGERS)

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of our dear mother, Lynda Hardy, on May 8, 2019, at Grace Hospice, at the age of 76.
Lynda was a strong, independent, caring woman who had an enormous heart and a friendly smile for everyone.
She was born June 2, 1942 and raised on the family farm in Wawanesa, MB. She eventually moved to Winnipeg, where she worked, made new friends, met her husband and raised her family.
Left with many fond memories are her daughters, Sandra Smith (Colin), Jennifer Hardy (Bryan), and grandson Finn.
She will be sadly missed by her brother Jim Rogers (Gerry), and her sister Ethel Perry, along with numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Lynda was predeceased by her husband Leslie Hardy, parents, Bub and Berna Rogers, and younger brother Clarkson Rogers.
Our family would like to personally thank the nurses and staff at Grace Hospice for taking such great care of Mum during her short stay, as well as the funeral home staff.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating Lynda's life will be held on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., at the Royal Canadian Legion, Charleswood Branch (Tank Room), 5995 Roblin Blvd., Winnipeg.
As per Lynda's wishes, in lieu of flowers, if you so desire, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
