Robert is survived by his only sister, Marlene. He was predeceased by his father Sydney in 1973 and his mother Kathleen in 2003.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a private interment.
Sincere gratitude to the people and health care workers who assisted "Bob" throughout his life, in particular, St. Boniface Hospital ICMS in the last weeks of his life.
