WESLEY GOW
1934 - 2019
He is predeceased by his mom, dad, sister, brother; children, Bob, Bill and Joanne; their mother Lou, granddaughter Brittany and great-granddaughter Amanda.
He is survived by his longtime partner Denise, daughter Sue (Mike), son-in-law Don, brother Cliff and family, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as Denise's family and so many friends.
Wes loved the outdoors. He was one of the founders of Gammon River fishing camp, Oak Lake hunting camp and Heather Game & Fish (Lac du Bonnet), which was his second home. He had the chance of a lifetime to work over the Arctic Circle, many thanks to Irene for the opportunity. He trained dogs for retrieving and taught hunting classes in his younger days.
Many thanks to the staff at Pinawa Hospital.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the Norwood Legion, Marion Street on June 7, 2019, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
