MARIE JANE BREGMAN
Marie was born in Pine Falls on September 19, 1946, and was lovingly raised by Steven and Rose Woychyshyn of Rembrant, MB. Marie moved to Winnipeg in 1968 where she raised her three children.
Marie moved her family back to the Interlake, and in 1993 married John Bregman. They created a home in Winnipeg Beach where she leaves many good friends with loving memories. Marie was kind to a fault, forgiving, and was loved by everyone who knew her.
Marie leaves to mourn her passing her husband John; children, Nicholas, Christina (Ralph Mueller) and Morgan Romanchuk; stepdaughters, Pamela (Bill) Reid and Jenny (Jeff) Heywood; stepson Danny Bregman (Sheila Kirouac); sister-in-law Leona Woychyshyn; sister Jean (John) Brockie, and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Marie was predeceased by her twins, Adam and Michelle, foster parents, Steven and Rose, brothers, Mike, Joe, and sister-in-law Diane Woychysyn.
Family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Selkirk Regional Hospital for their care of Marie during her final days, especially Doctors Alexander and Lindenschmidt who were always caring, kind and showed true compassion throughout our time there.
All family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at the Winnipeg Beach Legion on Sunday, June 9 at 1:30 p.m. A light lunch will be served.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Winnipeg Beach Legion.

I was a teammate with Marie and John at Selkirk Bowling for several years. I never once heard Marie say an unkind word about anybody. When my mother died and I mentioned it to Marie, she gave me the nicest, most memorable hug of my entire life. She was a lovely human being. - Posted by: Bob Greenhalgh (Friend) on: Jun 10, 2019

John and family, my sincere condolences. I hope it helps to know that I and many others share your loss. Marie and I were friends for 39 years and I respected and admired her. No matter how many problems she faced she kept her sense of humor and I also will miss her terribly. Our loss is heaven's gain and she will keep everyone up there laughing and eventually we will all meet up again and share her laughter. Until then know she is at peace and without pain. - Posted by: Sharon Baril (Friend) on: Jun 08, 2019
