• Mark, Daria and Lawrence, I just heard about your Mom's passing and send my deepest condolences out to all of you. Your mom was SO MUCH FUN and treated me so well every time I was out in Selkirk visiting - from being a newborn up until last year when I had a wonderful visit with her. As you mentioned, Heaven will for sure not be the same with her joining your Uncle Stooge, my mom, Uncle Tom and now Uncle Joe. Your mom grew up next door to the Whitelam family and the stories, I heard growing up about their escapades will never be forgotten. RIP Jeanette. • Jeanette was the main resource person for the Selkirk Court when I first appeared for the Crown Attorney's Office to speak to the Judge's Court. She was always prepared for the weekly dockets and was patient with a young Crown from the start to the end of my appearances in Selkirk Provincial Court. • I am sorry to hear the passing of your mother Jeanette. I so fondly remember when I was a kid to have Jeanette (and the Laye family) join us on the farm. Jeanette and Eugene were the life of the party and always welcomed everyone into their festivities!!
