EDMOND (CHUCK) GAUTRON
- In Loving Memory -
October 14, 1944 - June 22, 2019
Chuck is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Rachel and their children: Joelle (Steve), Sylvie and Eric (Pascale); his grandchildren, Caelin, Ariana, Simonne, Agathe, Zoé, Ryley, and stepgrandchildren Shawn and Kyannah. He is also survived by his sisters, Madeline, Michelle, and his brother Normand.
Edmond and Rachel met in St-Pierre-Jolys, fell in love and started a family, never straying far from their roots. Edmond was passionate about all sports and he was always ready for a hockey game, a round of golf, a baseball game, either the real thing or on TV. Edmond worked in the construction industry, beginning with his father at F.W. Sawatzky, followed by multiple roles in different companies. He then joined Manitoba Highways where he spent 25 years, retiring after many years as Sign Foreman.
Our family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at the Centre Médico-Social de Salaberry for their excellent care of our dad, and the IPF Support Group for guiding our family through a most difficult time.
Funeral Mass will be held at 13:00 on July 4, 2019, at St-Pierre Roman Catholic Church, 448 Joubert Street, St-Pierre-Jolys. A private family interment will follow at a later date.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Those wishing to do so may donate to the The Manitoba Lung Association, 301 - 1 Wesley Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4C6

- Posted by: Lorraine Tetrault (amie) on: Jun 29, 2019
