She was predeceased by her husband Jack, children, Donna and Rodney, and grandchildren, Myles Scharf and Dean Gardiner.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Sharon, Bruce, Wanda, Dixie, Dwight as well as their families.
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the Rock Lake Pastoral Charge United Church in Crystal City, Manitoba at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place at the Greenwood Cemetery in Pilot Mound, Manitoba.
Donations in memory of Hazel may be made to Prairie View Lodge, CancerCare Manitoba or to the Kidney Foundation.

I am saddened to hear of your Mom’s passing. I have very fond memories of your Dad and her as well as the rest of your family. My last memory of Pilot Mound was travelling out to stay with you when my Christie was just small. I even have a picture of her playing the piano with one of the boys. Our mothers were very dear friends and kept in touch till the passing of our Mom in 2004. I know you will all have very fond memories of her as she was such a gentle, kind person.
