July 19, 1931 - July 27, 2019
Antonin was born on July 19, 1931 in Mariapolis, Manitoba to Alphonse Desrochers and Nora (Chalifoux).
His absence will be sadly missed by his wife of 65 years, Fernande (Guilbert), his children, Claire (Fernand) Nadeau and Lynne (Laurent) Bissonnette, his grandchildren, Marc (Melissa), Renee, Josee (Jody), Liane (Joel), Rejean (Leah), and nine great-grandchildren. He also leaves his sister Liliane Boulet and sister-in-law Jeanne Desrochers.
If you ever had the pleasure of knowing Antonin (Tony), you would know that he loved watching hockey, playing cards and working in his garden. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren held a big part of his heart.
The family would like to thank all at Villa Youville who opened their hearts and cared for "Tony".
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Boulevard.

We are so sorry to hear of Tony's passing. Antonin was a great man. Always willing to help at the Club Vive La Joie when I was the president. Whatever he could do he did with all his heart.
