KENNETH (KEN) EARL POTT
Ken was raised on a small farm in Woodmore, MB with his two younger brothers, Clayton and Glen; by his proud and loving parents, Harold and Lily. He moved to Winnipeg in 1964 and shortly thereafter he met his beloved wife Judy. Together they raised three children, Shannon, Leona and Darren. Ken led a very active lifestyle, with his best friend Brian often by his side, he enjoyed playing baseball, hockey and golf. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family, playing cards with his friends, gardening and listening to country music. Two of Ken's proudest moments were walking his daughters down the aisle, to Mario and Bryan, knowing that he raised them as strong, independent women. Ken enjoyed travelling, whether it was a special anniversary trip to Hawaii, or one of his many trips to the Cayman Islands to see his son and daughter-in-law, Andrea. Ken enjoyed the scenery, palm trees, seafood, coconuts, pineapples, sunsets and the warm ocean breeze. As a proud grandpa, Ken always enjoyed listening to the many stories, and early accomplishments from his grandchildren, Nicholas, Isabella, Alex, Brayden and Natalie. Although the time has come that we can no longer be together, the memory of Ken will live in our hearts forever.
The family would like to thank Tamara, Dr. Maksymiuk and the many nurses who supported him.
A private family service will be held at a later date.

Our condolences to Judy and family on Ken’s passing. You both were good neighbours. We remember the mock orange hedge between our two properties and how he took such good care of it. Fond memories of your family and the lovely neighbourhood. - Posted by: Wayne and Lottie Ivey (Former neighbour) on: Oct 02, 2019

Ken is well remembered by friends from his Woodmore school days. He was always a kind, up-beat fellow with a lively sense of humor. It is nice to know he traveled and enjoyed his time in this old world. My sympathy goes out to Clayton and Glen at this time Ada Grier - Posted by: Ada Grier (school friend) on: Oct 01, 2019
