Very sorry to hear of Joyce’s passing. We were very good friends through high school with Joyce, Paulette Sawchuk, the Schilling sisters, Mayer Nelken, Eddie Ring, the Serdinski brothers, Bill Didur, and many others. Bill and I were just playing I wonder what happened to... and discovered Joyce’s obit. She was a very lovely lady. - Posted by: Rick McGill (Childhood friend) on: Mar 14, 2020

I was saddened to hear of Joyce's passing. She was such an intelligent lady, a conversation with Joyce was always enlightening. I am grateful to have shared a friendship with this wise, special lady and I'm sure she will be deeply missed. My sympathies to the family. - Posted by: Susan Hallett (Friend ) on: Oct 08, 2019

I remember Joyce's infectious smile and laughter, it has been many years since we have been in Winnipeg, and most of us now in our seventy's and eighty's and we remember Ewan and Joyce's early years and visiting with Uncle Bill & Aunty Carol, Larry & Pam Ring. Wilma called and informed us of her passing, and our condolences to her family, we will remember her. - Posted by: Ronald W. Salome (Friend of the family) on: Sep 28, 2019

Ewan and Tanis, we are so sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved mother. We remember very well our lovely times at the cottage, trip to South Dakota, trips to Grand Forks, Christmas gatherings and many birthdays. Our families had spent a lot of time together. The last time we saw Joyce was when we were moving to Kelowna and Tanis and Kevin had bought our house. She will be sadly missed. My deepest condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of being Joyce’s neighbor and was honoured to help her in small ways this past year. She was such a lovely lady and so very strong. May the love that you shared with her bring you comfort in the days ahead. She loved her family so much and spoke so highly of you all. I am so very sorry for your loss. 🦋 - Posted by: Thora Meade (Neighbor ) on: Sep 21, 2019
