My Gift
Flowers to soon fade away and die
Clothes unravel and fall to bits.
Glass shatters with untimely hits.
All useless!
Diamonds and pearls have not I to give thee.
But this I give lives on to eternity -
Love
Kaney

A Celebration of Life service will be held at E. J. Coutu, 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 4, 2019 located at 680 Archibald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Condolences & Memories (8 entries)

  • I am sorry to hear the sad loss of Mr Premdas. I used to study at Holy Cross School in 1976-1977 and 1981-1983. He was a wonderful kind-hearted teacher, and helped me a lot during my minor difficulties with certain subjects. Till today, I still hold the award I achieved in 1983 at Holy Cross School. - Posted by: Raja K (student ) on: Nov 15, 2019

  • I really liked Mr. Premdas as a teacher. He had a beautiful smile. He was such a good man. - Posted by: Angela stupak (Student at Holy Cross) on: Nov 01, 2019

  • We were colleagues, teaching at Holy Cross School many years ago. I remember Titus with affection and respect for his abilities. I extend my sincere sympathy to the members of his family. incerely, Sister Alice Konefall - Posted by: Alice Konefall (colleague) on: Oct 04, 2019

  • What a guy! He will be greatly missed! Always had a pleasant voice and a word of encouragement to share. He lived a full, exciting, happy life and will be remembered by all who knew him. My family and I extend our deepest condolences to Andy, Peggy-Anne, Carlos, Nicolas & Andre. Uncle Titus had a zest for life until the end, and I know he would want us to remember him with fond memories. My family and I will miss the annual holiday letters and his 2:00 o’clock Christmas day toasts. He never missed a year in reminding us to share in that annual toast of friendship and love, until he fell ill two years ago. In his memory, the ‘Titus Toast’ will continue to be a tradition at our home when family and friends gather to make memories. Here’s one to you “ole boy”. • If we could hear his voice one last time, I think he would say, Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free I’m following the path God laid for me I took His hand when I heard Him call; I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play Tasks left undone must stay that way; I found that place at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared a laugh, a kiss; Ah yes, these things, I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow My life’s been full, I savored much; Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch. Perhaps my time seems all to brief, Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free. May you find comfort in cherished memories. - Posted by: Giatry Bacchus (Niece-in-law) on: Oct 03, 2019

  • I will always remember his sense of pride and humor. He was my mentor when I started teaching at Holy Cross and that is where I realized what a special person he was. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. Rosa Militano - Posted by: Rosa Militano (colleague/friend) on: Oct 02, 2019

  • What a sweet and wonderful man. We only met him a few times and spent a little time at his house but the few times we met with him, it was very apparent to us that he had a real zest for life. What we remember most about him was his big smile and some much needed billiards lessons he provided at the annual Bustos Christmas work parties. He will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Alison & Gary Kremski (Friends) on: Oct 02, 2019
