My mom, Gloria and I came to Denis’ auto body shop for years, where he took such great care of our 1968 Chrysler Plymouth Valiant. We called her Val. Denis brought back our Val to perfection every time, for over 10 years. He once removed the entire back of the car and replaced it. Clearly, his welding skills were remarkable. We always remember his amazing laugh, his hard working hands and the jokes he would make with my mom, about how many pillows she would need to prop her up to drive the car. I remember taking portraits of Denis with our car, Val, when I was studying to become a photographer, this photo reminds me of that time. We remember him fondly, as I sit here with my mom. We both live in Montreal. We’ll always remember his amazing laugh and voice, and wow, did he ever know how to take such good care of our Val. Thinking of you, Denis. Angels all around us, dear family. Xo Gloria + Christina Esteban - Posted by: Christina + Gloria Esteban (Client) on: Jan 22, 2022
