MAURICE JEAN JOSEPH FONTAINE
September 24, 1944 - October 13, 2019
Il était l'époux bien-aimé de Rolande (née Desrosiers), et le papa à Monique (Aurèle Courcelles), Daniel (Kendra) et Nicole (Patrick Neveux). Maurice va surtout être manqué à ses huit petits-enfants: Jean-Marc, Ghislain et Arianne Courcelles, Justin, Alexandre et Eric Fontaine, et Pascal et Cédric Neveux.
Il fut précédé par ses parents, Rosaire et Clotilde Fontaine; sa soeur, Madeleine Wiebe; et tout récemment son frère Francis.
Il laisse sa belle-soeur Yvonne, ses frères: Marc (Bonnie), Guy (Angèle), Robert (Monique) et sa soeur Marguerite (Gerry Pichette). Il laisse aussi des belles soeurs, beaux-frères, neveux, nièces, amis et membres de famille trop nombreux à mentionner, mais pas oubliés.
Maurice looked forward to quality time with family and friends. He spent many weekends camping in St. Malo, at the cottage in Albert Beach and travelling to places like Mexico, Hawaii, Cuba, and Canada coast to coast. Maurice was known for his impish sense of humour. All who knew him could appreciate his antics! His spirit and sense of humour will be carried on by his children and grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Eugène Parish, 1009 St. Mary's Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Eulogy will take place at 10:15 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research or to a charity of your choice.

Mes sincères sympathies Rolande et à toute ta famille. J'ai des bons souvenirs de Maurice - en 8ième au CSB et ensuite à la Division scolaire de Saint-Vital. Il était un homme généreux et appliqué avec un bon sens d'humour. Nous vous offrons nos prières durant ce temps difficile.
