ALFRED (FRED) RATTE
January 3, 1943 - October 13, 2019

It is with profound sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Fred, our dearly beloved husband, brother, father and grandfather.
Fred had a heart of gold, he was a devoted, kind, caring and loving family man. He took every opportunity to show his love and affection for his family and friends.
Every person that met Fred was blessed with his warm smile and loving personality.
Fred has been an inspiration to us all touching our lives immensely.
He will be lovingly and sadly missed by all.
Fred was predeceased by his parents, Adélard and Georgette; sister Dolores Chabluk; brothers-in-law, Albert Dacquay and Jack Paterson.
Fred will be deeply missed by his loving wife Bonny; children, Ronald (Stacey), Corrine (Walter), Kimberley (Wade); cherished grandsons, Garrett, Liam, Ryan, Sean and Eric; sisters, Ida (Lawrence), Laura; brothers, Maurice (Dorothy), Patrick (Kathy) and brother-in-law Peter, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family would like to extend thank you to the staff of the G7 ward at Health Sciences Centre for the exceptional care.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of choice.
A service will be held in Fred's memory at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodière Blvd., Winnipeg, MB R2J 4J4 on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
