Mrs. Purdy was a great supporter of the Scottish Arts, especially piping and drumming, and highland dancing. I fondly recall many Heather-Belle Ladies' Pipe Band trips that her and Mr. Purdy accompanied us on. Rest in peace Mrs. P. - Posted by: Heather Purvis (Friend) on: Nov 01, 2019

I am so saddened to hear of Bobbi’s passing. I remember her fondly from our years working together in the Winnipeg Agency at GWL. She was always fun to be with and had a wonderful smile. I was thrilled when I discovered her grand daughter Lexie highland danced and I got to see her at a few competitions. Her beautiful smile and gentle ways will always be remembered. May she Rest In Peace. - Posted by: Donna Cram (Worked together) on: Oct 30, 2019

Both of us lived in Banff until Roberta was 10. We then moved to Calgary and then to Manitoba. We had a wonderful life in Banff. I remember the two of us going to go swimming at the Cave and Basin. We saw a bear coming down the road. We turned around, waited a bit and then ran home. The bear just sauntered off. We finished our schooling in Winnipeg. We both were able to get jobs in Winnpeg. Roberta met Bob and soon they were talking about getting married. Bill and I were married in 1957 and Roberta and Bob were married in 1958 - one year less a day after us. We were very close and I shall miss her so much. Darlene - Posted by: Darlene Savage (Sister) on: Oct 26, 2019
