A true friend is someone who you can confide in, will not judge, give support and be there when you need him. That was Guy. His snickering laugh was always contagious. He knew where he came from and where he was going, Fate brought us together but the LORD made us brothers and we are thankful for that. His career was too short but he was first class, on and off the ice. All we can say is thanks for the memories. Hasta luego ! - Posted by: wayne and mary caplette (close friends) on: Oct 26, 2019

Guy Lash was our friend. We enjoyed his fellowship at our church in Cancun, Mexico. We went many times to help out with CIDA (Alcohol and drug rehab) located in Leona Vicario, Mexico. Guy was as good as they come. A true inspiration. - Posted by: Henry and Margarita (Friends and Guy Lash Fans) on: Oct 26, 2019

I will always remember my dear friend and student Guy as a passionate man who was in love with Christ and his family. I remember him with much love as he was always smiling in our Spanish lessons at church...he always did his homework and always talked about what God had done in his life and how he was changed for good. We miss him terribly but we stand on God's promise. We'll be with the Lord, Guy and other loved ones one day...just follow Christ and you'll see him again one day. Keep strong Guy's family. We are praying for you and just like Guy hoping that your heart finds some peace in knowing where he is and how much he is loved. - Posted by: Marisol Plata (Friend and Spanish teacher) on: Oct 26, 2019

We are very sorry to hear about Guy’s passing. Karen and family our thoughts and prayers are with you. It has been a lot of years since we crossed paths at the Payment family New Years Day celebration but I still look back at those times with Guy with his usual big smile and deep laugh with a lot of fond memories. We always looked forward to those get togethers and you guys were always a big part of that. Cole was lucky to have seen Guy off and on over the years and when we talked about those visits we always laughed and collectively commented what a good person he was.
