I only knew Joey professionally at auditions. Consequently, when I was diagnosed with cancer it was a surprise to receive a phone call from him, offering me encouragement. It was a compassionate gesture of friendship and respect that I appreciated. I pray for Joey's family and loved ones. My sincere condolences to Joey's family and to Silvain. It was sad for me to move away and lose touch with such an amazing human being. He made me laugh until I cried sometimes. I feel so fortunate to have known him and have had him in my life. He had such a powerful and positive impact on my life that he could never know. I will never forget his laugh and his smile!!! I wish I had known about his illness I would have reached out there are so many things I would have wanted to say. My thoughts are with you. - Posted by: Chantal Lacon (High school friends) on: Nov 06, 2019

I am so saddened to read about the loss of Joey. Although we had not seen each other in years, we spent many years working together at Viewpoints Research. We had so much fun together during those days. I think about those times and we had planned to meet up again, but unfortunately, that didn't come to be. I have always missed his wit and sense of humour that we share during our working days. I'm so sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Jill Bemi (Friend) on: Nov 06, 2019
