MARIANO CANTRE SUNGA
He is predeceased by his father, Desedirio Sunga.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Gavina Aldovino Sunga; and son Bryan; his mother Lolita Cantre Sunga; his siblings, Myrna (Tony) Geradila, Merly (Morel) Basilan, Eric "Irot" (Tess) Sunga, Lino (Susan) Sunga, Dolly (KC) Cagomoc, Jeff Sunga, John (Ruby) Sunga, Maribel "Neng" (Rick) Amat; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews in Canada and in the Philippines.
Mariano is fondly called "Nomer", "Maning", "Totoy". He was born on December 8, 1965 in Majayjay, Laguna, Philippines. He was always willing to help anyone in need. Mariano was always a happy, outgoing person and always made sure everyone was having a good time.
Lamay (Viewing) will be held Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight. Prayers will be said at 7:30 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 25, 2019 at St. Edward's Parish, 836 Arlington Street. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Cemetery.
He will be greatly missed by everyone he has touched with his presence.
