MILDRED DAVINA RAE
(nee GORANSON)
December 11, 1924 - January 27, 2020
Millie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Garvie.
Millie was born in Eriksdale, Manitoba and spent her adult life in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she had a career at Ashdown's working in payroll.
Over the years, Millie enjoyed trips to Hawaii with Garvie, knitting, reading and watching curling. Millie was always busy in the kitchen, making waffles, crepes, lemon squares and hardtack, much to her family's delight.
Millie was instrumental in her family's lives, always providing love and support. Millie will be lovingly missed by all who knew her, friends and family alike, whether they referred to her as Millie, Aunt Millie, Gramma or Great-Gramma.
As per Millie's wishes, there will be no service.
In memory of Millie, a donation can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice, should you wish.

Mrs. Rae was a huge part of growing up on Des Meurons for me and my brother. I remember countless hours sitting in her kitchen and playing in the back yard under the huge (it seemed huge at the time) crab apple tree. She was amazingly kind and generous and will be remembered always. - Posted by: Dan Lussier (Friend) on: Feb 17, 2020
