Helen is survived by her husband Gene (the love of her life); son Terry Cooke (her rock); Gene's son James; grandson Sean; sisters, Adele and Stephanie; along with numerous relatives and friends in Manitoba and throughout Canada.
Cremation has taken place and no service will be held.

Helen was the nicest, most caring person that I met while working at the Manitoba Wildlife Federation. She was my room-mate at the Becoming an Outdoorswoman Program and we had a great time trying out new and different activities. I will also always remember her meat loaf sandwiches.
