Aa you gather as a family to grieve this loss to your family, it is our prayer that you will be able to re-count the good times of Sheldon’s life. Be assured of our prayers and support during this time of loss. W.re sending you this short note as we spend a couple of months in the Philippines with our daughter and family. Wishing you Heavenly peace Sheldon. Hope you are with our dear Transit friends , Brian, Ed and Bob. We spent many fun years together with our families. We all felt like family. We loved getting together with you and Barb for many bbq’s (even bbqs on New Years Eve in the snow) and card games. We had so many laughs at each of our house parties and swimming pool parties. Sheldon was always a funny and happy guy. He loved his family and friends. For all who knew Sheldon, it is for certain you will be missed by all your family and old friends. Love you . I have many happy memories of cousin Sheldon's numerous visits to our farm in Maryfield, Saskatchewan. I and all my siblings just loved his visits because he was the older cousin who entertained us, loved us and tolerated our constant monitoring of his every move. We never wanted him to leave because we saw him as the funny and interesting big city cousin from Winnipeg. Our deepest sympathy to Barbara and their 5 children. I am sure he will be deeply missed by all of them. - Posted by: Elton Hammond (First Cousin) on: Feb 22, 2020
