WILMA MARIE PALEHITSKI
(nee CURTI)
February 12, 1943 - March 8, 2020
She will be lovingly remembered by her son Walter (Shawna), daughter Wendy (Trent), brothers, Lou (Claudette), Dave (Margaret) and Walter, sister-in-law Helene, nieces, nephews and friends.
Wilma grew up in Elmwood and enjoyed years working at Northern Electric and Frontier Fruit and Nut. More than that though, Wilma adored her husband Willie (who predeceased her in 2013), her children, and their cottage at Lee River. Wilma and Willie spent nearly 40 years enjoying the cottage and the wonderful friendships they formed there. In addition to that, Wilma loved her many pets over the years, the Food Network and the sheer joy she got from yelling BINGO!
Mom spent this final year at Golden West Centennial Lodge and her family is grateful for the loving care she received there. Also, special thanks to Mom's friend Linda for the many kindnesses over the years.
A private interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Wilma's name to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
Family and friends may sign a
book of condolence at www.glenlawn.ca.
