GARY DOUGLAS (DOUG) BRESCH
September 24, 1944 - April 13, 2020
He is survived by his loving daughter Michelle Danko (Mark); and his four grandsons, Adam, Jonah, Noah, and Judah. He was also survived by his brother Ron (Vi) in Saskatchewan; and sisters, Sharon, Debbie, and Diane (Ken) all of Winnipeg.
Doug began working for Old Dutch Foods where he met, and fell in love with his wife, Rose. After a few years working for Old Dutch, Doug began working for Winnipeg Transit until he retired in 1999, at 55 years of age. Doug and Rose enjoyed retirement by frequently travelling to the U.S. until her passing. Doug was a member of Dormer Lodge of the Order of Freemasons and attended Good Neighbour's Senior Center.
The family would like to thank all of our family and friends for their support and prayers. Also thank you to the staff at Concordia Hospital for their excellent care
A memorial service in Doug's memory is still to be determined at this time and will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Doug's memory can be made to Grace Lutheran Church.
