NADIA HARDAM
(nee GALARNYK)
Nadia was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Catherine Galarnyk (nee Blaschuk); first husband Gunnar Hardam; and niece Katrina Galarynk.
She is survived by her brother Andrew; daughter Shirlee; five grandchildren; spouse Brian; and cousins.
Nadia was born in Winnipeg on January 10, 1958. She attended school at West Kildonan Collegiate. Working in the banking and retail sales businesses made her many friends. These friendships were a valuable part of her life as she cherished her family and friends for supporting her during her hardship.
Nadia enjoyed her quiet times reading or creating beautiful artwork she leaves behind as her legacy. She was very fortunate to have loving family and friends and missed her mother very much.
Nadia's wish is for everyone to plant a tree in her honour, as she soars with the eagle's forever.
After careful consideration regarding the new Covid-19 crisis, and in the interest of the community's heath, the family has decided to postpone a Celebration of Life to a later date to be announced. A private memorial service will be held. Broadcast of the live stream service will be available on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. Please visit: www.voyagefuneralhomes.com to live stream the service.
We will all miss Nadia, be at peace my love.
Her memory will live on forever in the
hearts of those she leaves behind.

Nadia and I became fast friends over the last few years. I was drawn by her honesty and resilience. She could be amazingly funny making us laugh so hard that I thought I would pee my pants. We played board games together and drank wine. We became even closer as she battled cancer being a survivor myself. I am missing her a lot. - Posted by: Suzan Bruneau (Friend ) on: Apr 22, 2020

I have so many memories of being at the Galarnyk family gatherings for many, many years. All of them are so pleasant, as we always shared the most important things in life: friendship, laughter, food and drinks. So many laughs and fun times that I will never, never forget. Gone too soon. Rest in peace Nadia. - Posted by: George Andrews (Family Friend) on: Apr 19, 2020
