BRENDA MARIE RAS
(nee BOUCHARD)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Marie Ras (nee Bouchard). Brenda passed away suddenly in the early morning of May 1, 2020, at the age of 65.
Brenda was predeceased by her father and mother, René and Stella Bouchard. She leaves to mourn, her husband of 47 years, Rudi Ras, son Myles (Tracy), grandchildren, Haley and Evan, and son Mark (Kim) and grandchildren, Lina and Zoey, as well as many cousins, extended family members and friends.
Brenda was born on July 20, 1954. She was raised in Winnipeg and lived her entire life here. She worked at the St. Boniface Hospital for 35 years in the Pathology Department as a Medical Transcriptionist, retiring at the age of 55. Family was the most important thing to Brenda and she lived her life making sure her loved ones were healthy and happy. Brenda loved to travel, spending time outdoors, especially by the water, but most of all, her greatest joy was spending time with her four grandchildren. They were the love of her life and could always put a smile on her face.
Thank-you to the Winnipeg Fire Fighters and Paramedics as well as the Emergency and ICU departments at the St. Boniface Hospital for their exceptional response and care.
As per Brenda's wishes, no funeral service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation on Brenda's behalf.

Close to our hearts you will stay,
loved and remembered forever.
