JOSEPH SLOBODA
June 16, 1927 - September 11, 2020
Dad's memory will be in our hearts forever; Richard (Val), Joanne (Clint), Diane (Lawr), Margaret (Keith), and his sources of so much joy, grandchildren, Stefanie, Natalie (Dave), Chris, Kristin, Sean, and great-grandsons, Ben and Charlie.
Dad will be reunited with his wife of 68 years, Rose, grandson Derek, his parents, his brothers, John and Henry, sisters, Frances and Jean, and many extended family. He is survived by sisters-in-law, Jeanette (Phil) and Ginny.
Dad was a man of humble beginnings, deep faith, hard work, true character and blessed with years of great health. Dad had a long standing career with Burlington Northern Railway; followed by a retirement that surpassed his working years!
"I fought the good fight I have finished the race; I have kept the faith "... bye for now Dad not forever.

Both Uncle Joe and Auntie Rose were always so nice whenever we were over playing with their kids and creating havoc around the house. I remember Uncle Joe in. Later years talking about his retirement and how hard he had worked over the years. Will miss seeing him on my trips to Winnipeg. - Posted by: Danny Kowarchuk (Nephew) on: Sep 20, 2020
