BRIAN GILBERT RAND
May 27, 1944 - July 18, 2020
Brian was predeceased by his first wife, Joyce (Guertin), in June 2003. Brian and Joyce had enjoyed many happy years before her untimely demise. Brian was also predeceased by his mother Antoinette in May 2012, as well as his father Everett in November 1999.
After the loss of Joyce, Brian moved to Abbotsford in 2009 to start a new life and enjoy his retirement with his second wife, Jeannine Labelle.
Brian will be lovingly remembered by Jeannine Labelle; his daughter Diane (Scott), his son David (Kristin); grandchildren, Tyler, Amber, Jeremy, Jessica and Cassidy; his brother Earl (Liz), his sister Donna (Wayne); his in-laws, Richard Guertin, Pat and Ted Main; nephews, Sean and Mark; nieces, Elizabeth and Celeste; along with numerous great-nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Brian was an electrician with CNR for over 30 years in the Maintenance Department. He was a man that could fix absolutely anything from a dishwasher to a fridge to teaching David how to rebuild a motorcycle, and making sure Diane knew how to change the oil and tires on her car.
He gave his family a great home, incredible trips, and fabulous memories.
We will miss you Dad!!

Brian was a good friend. I always enjoyed talking with him on our Ham Radios, on the way to work every morning. Everybody really missed his "YIPPEE, its Friday" every Friday morning on the Morning Net. Goodbye VE4CAN. Dick VE4HK - Posted by: Dick Maguire (Friend) on: Oct 05, 2020

David and Diane, we are so sorry to hear of the loss of your dad and our cousin. My sister and I have very fond memories of attending family events with your mom and dad. Your dad was a great dancer. We hope it is a comfort to you to know that your mom and dad are together again. (Debbie McLeod and Cathie Block, cousins) - Posted by: Debbie McLeod (Cousins) on: Oct 03, 2020

Brian was my best friend for over 40 years. We spent many weekends with Brian and Joyce. Both of them were good to the core and the world could use more people like them. We will miss them both so very much! I hope his family and friends can find peace in the many good memories we all have - Posted by: Arnie Beraro (Friend) on: Oct 03, 2020
