HERITAGE: Elizabeth Irene Heritage passed away Friday, January 24th, 2014, at 52 years of age. Elizabeth was born June 30, 1961 in Elkhorn, and spent much of her adult life at the Pine Creek Community Residence in Austin, MB. Elizabeth is predeceased by her father, Ron Heritage, and survived by her mother, Irene, her sisters, Janice (Gene), Pat, and Carol (Rick). Also left to mourn are her nieces and nephew; Hailey and Karlee Bird, Sarah Kenyon, and Krystan and Cole McCaig. Elizabeth's family is eternally grateful for the love and care she received from the Pine Creek Residence staff. The years Elizabeth spent at Pine Creek were her happiest, and she loved the staff, her roommates, and co-workers at the workshop. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pine Creek Community Residence, Box 129, Austin, MB, R0H 0C0 or to the Special Olympics Manitoba, 304-145 Pacific Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2Z6.
