MABEN: With his family by his side, Glen Robert Maben passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Friday, November 13, 2015. Born July 19, 1944 in Portage la Prairie, Glen grew up in the Firdale and Sidney districts and attended school at Sidney. When not farming, Glen enjoyed dancing and travelling. Remaining to cherish Glen's memory are his wife Pat; daughter Darlene and grandchildren Leroy, Glenda and Rebecca. Also surviving are sisters Agnes Peill, Audrey (David) Thiessen and brother Terry Maben. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Margaret. The Ceremony to Celebrate Glen's Life will be held at Memories Chapel, 330 18th Street North, Brandon, on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Peggy Reid officiating. A reception will follow the service. Private interment will take place at Roseland Cemetery. Donations in memory of Glen may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 3-824 18th Street, Brandon, MB R7A 5B7. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.memorieschapel.com.
