HIPFNER: Allan Hipfner, loving father of Lorie-Anne and grandfather of Lauren (Eric) Senecal and Carly, passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospital, Winnipeg on the afternoon of Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the age of 80 years. Allan's kind-heartedness is his legacy and he will always be remembered for his friendly nature and gentle soul. He made many friends over the years across Saskatchewan and Manitoba and never failed to strike up a conversation with anyone he met. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Allan is now resting in peace alongside his loving wife Emma of almost 58 years, grandsons Brendan and Marc, and parents Anthony and Phil. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, 327-4th Street, Brandon, MB, on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Patrick Neufeld as Celebrant. Interment will be held at the Riverside Memorial Park in Regina at a future date.
