BURNETT: Jody Dean Burnett. It is with great sadness we announce that Jody passed away peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit in Brandon with family by his side. Jody was born in Brandon on September 22, 1975 and passed away November 2, 2018. He is survived by his partner Cindy Hardy and family, sons Garrett and Jayden, parents Darlene and Don, sister Jacquie, uncles, aunts and nephews. Jody grew up and attended schools in Brandon. He worked in the construction industry in the area until his health failed. Well known for his humour and love of life he was always willing to help others out. Many thanks to friends and neighbors for their help over the last 18 months. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff in Palliative Care who made his last few weeks as comforting as possible. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice. There will be a Celebration of Life for family and friends on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 1:00- 3:00 p.m at Central United Church, 327-8th Street. Casual attire.

So sorry to read about Jody’s passing and my deepest condolences to the family. I never did meet Jody but remember Don mentioned him and also Jackie. Jackie went to school with my daughter Leanne.
