COLLINS: Shirley Collins passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Riverdale Health Centre on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the age of 83 years. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Ross Collins. Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her children: Joe-Anne (Gualberto) Pacheco, Donna (Tad) Hoyak, Gerri (Richard) Allen, Gerald Ross Collins, Valerie (Tom) Northam and her brother Kenny Lemmon of Truro, N.S. She will also be remembered by her 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. A Celebration of Shirley’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 633 2nd Ave., Rivers, Manitoba on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Shirley may be made to the Riverdale Palliative Care, c/o Box 428, Rivers, Manitoba, R0K 1X0.
