THEODORE ISAAC
Our Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather, Theodore Isaac was born to Frank and Elizabeth Isaac on July 19, 1930 in Steinbach, Manitoba. Dad’s earthly life came to a close on May 12, 2015 at the Maplewood Manor in Steinbach, Manitoba, reaching the age of 84.
Dad grew up on a dairy farm in Hochstadt with four brothers and two sisters. On September 19, 1954, Dad married the love of his life, our Mother, Marina Giesbrecht. Dad and Mom spent long hours providing for us children on the farm in Hochstadt. In 1992, our parents sold the dairy farm but remained on the farmstead until 2006 when they made the move to the Village Oaks in Kleefeld, Manitoba.
Dad was a dedicated and devoted caregiver to our Mom during her illness and he felt her loss deeply when she passed away in 2007. In December of 2014, a final move was made to the Maplewood Manor in Steinbach, Manitoba. We as a family will be eternally grateful for the gracious care he received in the facility.
No stranger ever crossed Dad’s path. His disposition was one of impartiality and equality. His friendly and respectful nature led to the formation of numerous friends.
He is survived by three sons, two daughters, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be held Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 7:00 p.m., with a devotional at 7:30 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy 52 West, Steinbach, MB.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Kleefeld Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
