DAVID WILLIAM PEAL
March 6, 1942 - October 8, 2020
He will be dearly missed by Shirley, his wife of 48 years. Also left to mourn are his sister Joy Donna (Sandy), his niece Donna (Bryan), his nephew Douglas, and many cousins and friends in Manitoba, Ontario, and Calgary.
Dave was born in Acton, ON. He spent his youth in Ontario and later moved to Calgary where he met and married Shirley in 1972. They settled in Winnipeg in 1974.
During his working career Dave held different occupations from systems analyst to mustard marketing manager. He enjoyed travelling, and was never happier than setting out for an extended road trip.
I would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff of the Palliative Care Ward at St. Boniface Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no formal service.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of your choice.

Dear Shirley: Please accept my condolences on the recent passing of Dave. I know you will miss him very much, but will be able rely on your good memories of your life together to keep you going. Although Dave and I have grown apart over the years, I too have many fond memories of him when we were kids visiting our Grandmother Peal in Rockwood, Ontario. Sincerely, cousin Doug Scott (and Malle), Dundas, Ontario. - Posted by: Douglas Scott (cousin) on: Oct 22, 2020
