JEAN WINIFRED LAWRENCE
Remaining to cherish Jean's memory are her daughter Tina; brothers and sisters, Joe, Darlene (Laurie), Joan (Bill), Al (Diane), Larry, Mark (Marilyne), Teresa; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends from Fred Tipping and longtime friend Phil Lambert.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Michael; parents, George and Margaret and sisters, Bess, Judy and Mary-Ann.
Jean was best known for her smile, courage and her laughter especially at the weekly Legion meat draw. Jean overcame her physical challenges as a double amputee with her positive attitude, fierce independence and her love for her daughter Tina. Jean cherished each and every minute of their regular girl time over manicures or lunch at Boston Pizza. Jean was an inspiration and was loved by all who had the privilege to know her. Our hearts are aching, but we are comforted in knowing that you were able to be with Tina in your final hours. We love you Jean.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private family ceremony and burial has taken place.
Our family would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation and thanks to Dr. Junaid and the staff on 4B for their compassion and guidance they gave to Jean and our family during her stay at St. Boniface Hospital.

My condolences to the family. Jean was my neighbour at Fred Tipping many years ago. We did a lot of card playing together back then. - Posted by: Gail Hill (friend) on: Nov 24, 2020
