MICHAEL PAUL BEAUDRY
He was predeceased by his father Ovide Beaudry and is survived by his mother Angele Desrochers-Emond; stepfather Bryan Emond; brothers, Jason Beaudry and Christopher Beaudry; nephew Aiden Beaudry and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Michael had an amazing love for animals and left a sweet cat, Nebula, behind. As per Michael's wishes, we have found her a loving home. His 14 year old pet dog, Luna, had passed in the fall.
Those close to Michael knew him to be a very private individual, yet quite transparent when it came to matters of the heart. He is a precious soul who brought much love, blessings and lessons to those who were fortunate to have known him well.
Michael worked at Costco in St. James for 29 years. We are very grateful for the Costco family who supported him over the past years as he dealt with chronic health issues. We'd also like to thank all the many friends and relatives who have reached out to us with kind words and loving memories.
A Celebration of Life will be held later in the summer. - May the Blessings Be
"How does one become a butterfly?" Pooh asked pensively? "You must want to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar," Piglet replied. "You mean to die?" asked Pooh. "Yes and no." he answered. "What LOOKS LIKE YOU will die, but what's REALLY YOU will live on."

My deepest sympathy to the family. I worked with Mike for many years, he always had a smile & always stopped to say hi. May the memory of Mike be a blessing to all who knew him. - Posted by: Karen Blanco (Friend ) on: May 01, 2021

I had the privilege of transferring to St. James, Warehouse February 2007, from Regent where I started my Career in 1993. I can't speak for Mike, however I would most likely be bang on the money if I said Mike was with Costco for 29 years because it was a "Family". Mike was very approachable, he was kind and gentle, and when it came to work Mike always put 100% plus into his workload. I was shocked yesterday to find out of Mike's passing. As others have shared, we have lost other employees, and the sting of death leaves an emptiness that can not be filled. Mike, you were a man of honor, a man of respect, and a Blessing to all who knew you. May the utterance of your name be a Blessing to all who Remember you. Rest in Peace Mike. Our Condolences to your Family!! - Posted by: Daniel Riedner (Friend (Fellow Employee)) on: Mar 13, 2021

I felt it important to add something about Mike...for me, he could always see what was inside a person in a very clear way. Mike used to encourage me back in high school...when my professional career in theatre and film was just getting going, and I was a bit uncertain if I should let the commitment to doing shows in other cities interrupting my schooling, separating me out from my immediate high school friends...Mike always said I had talent in me and I should pursue it, not just for the sake of whatever talent I may or may not have, but for all the people in my life I cared about who didn't have something like that to shoot for. I have gone on to do movies, television, a lot of theatre, to direct opera, circus, outdoor spectacles, to run some really great companies, and to be a professor in my area... and I owe it all to the people in my life who believed in me, and Mike was one of those people. As I said, he was a rare man, and will be missed. Derek Aasland - Toronto Dec 29, 2020 - Posted by: Derek Aasland (Friend) on: Dec 29, 2020

I worked with Mike at “57”. Mike was such a kind and generous soul. He worked with me in Tires. Always calling it as he saw it. I loved working with him and will miss you my friend. I’ll forever remember your Sunday pot roast you would cook in our toaster oven in the tire centre! Rest In Peace. - Posted by: Andy Mc (Co worker ) on: Dec 22, 2020

I have worked for Costco for 24 years and worked at the St James warehouse for over 10 years. I now work at the South Winnipeg warehouse but very clearly remember Mike as a very upbeat and positive person to work with and my heart goes out to all family and friends that knew him for those same qualities. Costco also lost Yvonne Broughton this year, an employeee of equal positivity and quality. I hope Yvonne and Mike are looking over the rest of us SOB's that get to deal with the challenges that are 2020 and are giving us all a toast and a high five knowing we will all unite at some point to share the reality that is what we all experienced down here.
