My Condolences to Sheila and the family. Sheila and David were friends of my parents from days gone by, with kids around the same age, so it was nice to reconnect with both David and Sheila while sitting beside them at the Jets games in more recent years and talking old times. David was always such a gentlemen with a kind word and a soft smile. My sympathies to Sheila, Jeff, Ian and Irene (Rene) and families. - Posted by: Wayne Nemy (Family Friend) on: Jan 09, 2021

Our sincere condolences to you Sheila & family. We are so sorry to hear of David’s passing. You are in our thoughts. One of our fondest memories was meeting you and David in Churchill, Manitoba. Our long trip on the train had become somewhat boring until we met you both. We laughed so much and enjoyed sharing stories. An unexpectedly long trip turned into one great memory. We will cherish that always. We have enjoyed the pictures that David sent us over the years and we’re glad that he liked to take many pictures, a wonderful keepsake. Our hearts go out to you all in your time of sorrow. Tara & Real Tetrault - Posted by: Tara Crawford (Friend) on: Jan 04, 2021

My condolences to Sheila and family. I have fond memories of walking to Queenston School with Meryl and David in the 40s. Ross Parke - Posted by: Ross Parke (Friend) on: Jan 04, 2021

Dave and his sister Merle were part of my childhood -- I remember him as a "long drink of water" as my parents called anyone who was tall, with an easy and winning smile. Although I have been in touch with Merle over the years, I haven't seen Dave for probably 70 years, yet I remember him fondly. To you Sheila, and your family, my condolences. Have good memories. - Posted by: Dian Cohen (née Nusgart) (ancient friend) on: Jan 02, 2021
